Born and raised in Minnesota, I grew up hiding behind my mother’s legs from the world around me. With so much going on in the world, I found excitement and comfort in tuning into the art of creation. It wasn’t until high school I realized I could be an artist. My freshmen year of high school I took a painting class and discovered a new passion and talent. Eventually, I found myself diving into the challenge of painting portraits. When I needed a break, I would take my endeavors to the room over and throw on the pottery wheel. Walking around the school covered in clay, I felt like myself. I have never wanted to do just one thing in my life. After taking a break from school, I found myself becoming a yoga teacher. I have always taken life a little too seriously, but yoga has given me the opportunity to step back and breathe.

After studying abroad in the Fall/Spring of 2021/2022 in Florence, Italy I confirmed my desire to pursue a career in fashion design. I want to be apart of leading the industry in a more sustainable, ethical and humane direction. The more I have traveled the more I desire to discover new places and connect with more people. It is those connections that have made me feel alive: they remind me of the beauty and love that is within us. One day I hope to live abroad again and continue to spread my many passions with others.
